About the Executive Network
Senior level executives at emerging growth companies are driving the next generation economy. Yet on the east coast they are often hard to find and often working under the radar.
Talent Pool News [east] has created the Executive Network to help foster a community of executives who work, or want to work, at East Coast Venture Capital-backed emerging growth companies. Joining Talent Pool’s Executive Network will help position members for career opportunities, help them find talent for their own companies and provide them with a forum of their peers for trouble-shooting issues unique to executives at fast-paced growing companies. Interested members will also be introduced to Venture Capitalists seeking management for their portfolio companies.

Why Talent Pool?
Journalist, magazine publisher and Talent Pool News [east] founder, Janet Stites, has covered emerging growth companies for two decades, beginning with the first telecom firms to tackle the market after the break-up of AT&T. Stites launched AlleyCat News in 1996 to cover venture capital and start-up companies in New York's Silicon Alley. She has been a columnist for The New York Times Business Page and a freelance writer for publications such as OMNI Magazine, The Santa Fe Institute's Bulletin, Fortune Small Business and other national publications. Through her work as a journalist and through her online journal Talent Pool News [east], she has developed a strong network of venture capitalists and industry executives.
